SF-VFMD – Single Sided Medium Density PVC Foam Tape
BLACK medium density (between 13-17 lbs/ft3) closed cell PVC foam tape coated on one side with a high performance acrylic adhesive, and carried on a white siliconized paper liner. Higher density provides for a tougher more durable tape product for more demanding applications. Excellent combination of flexibility & conformability with strength, wear & temperature resistance (remains pliable at -4°F to 176°F). Excellent weatherability & chemical resistance. A clean, waste free substitute for liquid sealants.
Available in 4 different thicknesses: 1/16″, 1/8″, 3/16″, 1/4″
Applications:
- Used extensively in the automotive, HVAC, and construction industries to provide air & weather tight seals
- Gasketing, cushioning, vibration control in speakers, vehicles, electronic components, door frames, etc
Physical Properties:
- Force to Compress 25% (range): 6.5-9.5 lbs/in²
- Compression Deflection (range): 4-6 lbs/in²
- Tensile Strength (minimum): >45 lbs/in²
- Adhesion to SST (minimum): >12 oz/in²
